We are looking to fill a Full-time 1st shift Painter position for our Englewood, CO location. If this is you or someone you know, let’s talk.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced painter/airbrush artist to paint products with a variety of urethane and automotive type paints, using spray guns, airbrushes, and other types of painting tools. You will work with stencils, masks and freehand to produce product as depicted in production drawings and illustrations. Must have strong attention to detail and proven ability to understand and replicate specified drawings. Candidates must have previous experience prepping and repairing surfaces, applying paint and top coat, and maintaining paint equipment. The work will take place in a production environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prep and repair any discrepancies in surface, including filling and sanding imperfections.
  • Mix and apply paint; ensure proper paint coverage.
  • Accurately replicate the design/illustration per Detail Drawing.
  • Use, maintain, and clean airbrushes, air guns, pressure pots and other equipment as required.
  • Maintain records of labor time and materials used, and record appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area; observe and implement proper safety practices.
  • Assist in performing other painting/coating related maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants will have:

  • Ability to lift 30lbs.
  • High School Education or GED (preferred).
  • Formal art training (preferred).
  • Comprehend methods and techniques of mixing and preparing paint or similar coatings.
  • Understand operational characteristics of tools and equipment used in painting/mixing.
  • Prior experience with principles and practices used in painting/mixing.
  • Familiarity with practices relating to health and safety involved in painting/mixing assignments.
  • Proficient with methods and techniques of storing equipment, materials and supplies.

***An airbrush test will be required during the interview process.

Production Coater (Spray Application) – Englewood, Co

We are looking to fill a Full-time 1st shift Production Coater position for our Englewood, CO location. If this is you or someone you know, let’s talk.

Job Description:

PLAYTIME is seeking an experienced manufacturing or industrial Coater to apply urethane/rubber. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to use high-pressure spray proportioning equipment to produce a smooth, even, defect-free surface. Candidates should have previous experience sanding, applying bondo and operating powered hand tools. Preferred experience includes using spray equipment to apply even coat of paint to cars and houses. This position will mount and dismount pieces from rotisseries and apply coating to meet production schedule.

Responsibilities include:

  • Produce a high quality coated product with no defects, ready to paint.
  • Maintain and service high pressure spray proportioning equipment.
  • Apply urethane coatings to EPS, Fiberglass, and Foamed sculptures.
  • Use High pressure spray proportioner to apply a variety of surface coatings such as urethane or other protective or decorative basecoat products.
  • Use, maintain and clean spray guns, tools, mixers, rotisseries, paint booth and other equipment as required.
  • Maintain records of labor time and materials used, and record appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area; observe and implement proper safety practices.
  • Assist in performing other painting/coating related maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants will have:

  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to push/pull heavy objects
  • Forklift experience (preferred)
  • High School Education (preferred)
  • Understands finishing operations to create paint-ready products.
  • Understands operational characteristics of tools and equipment used in spray coating.
  • Familiar with practices relating to health and safety involved in coating/mixing assignments.
  • Proficient with methods and techniques of storing equipment, materials and supplies.

Position Overview    

We are seeking a results-oriented, self-starting, team player who is accustomed to working in a fast paced environment to help support our sales team. The position will require a broad skill set and the desire to be involved in many different aspects of the sales function. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of increasing levels of responsibility and of task-oriented accomplishments.  This position utilizes AutoCAD, InDesign and NetSuite heavily and will create customer-facing proposals and design packets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team with the development of layouts for play area footprints (AutoCAD) and creating sales proposals (Microsoft Office)
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Work with Project Management team, Product Realization team and vendors to obtain quotes and source non-PLAYTIME manufactured items
  • Create various presentations to help Sales’ team close orders
  • Actively participate in sales meetings

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 5 years of experience with proven track record for continuous improvement
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office programs
  • Familiarity with a CRM (NetSuite) platform and database management is preferred
  • Knowledge of drafting conventions
